Dearest friends and fans,
Thank you, thank you for a wonderful 2013. Without your amazing support and encouragement I could have never realized these musical dreams:
Releasing my first CD – “What a Wonderful World” in May
Singing with a big band – I’m now the vocalist for the Madison College Big Band!
And most importantly, sharing music so frequently with all of you and raising money for so many wonderful organizations doing such great work in our community.
This year Chance Allies concerts benefitted Haiti Allies, Domestic Abuse Intervention Services, PEPartnership (a network of essentials pantries in Dane County), The Dane County Jail Chaplaincy ministry, Interfaith Coalition for Worker Justice and Lake Edge Lutheran Church’s children’s music ministry. In addition to these fundraising gigs we also performed at Oakwood Village, Bourbon Street Grill and The Fountain. It was a great year of making music.
I’ve been working for weeks now to set up gigs for 2014 and have a number of fun things lined up already and am hoping for more. Plus, Chance Allies goes back into the recording studio this Saturday to record five new tunes we’ve been working on. These new tunes will be available soon from this website for digital download only so stay tuned.
Last but not least, many thanks to Dannika Lewis and the folks at Channel 3000 in Madison for the opportunity to be featured in this fun story about “the real life Parson Brown.”
May 2014 be a year filled with good music and good friends. Hope to see you around!
